Every May, Jax Gym hosted an end of year Gym Revue. Consider this as a "dance recital." Each program within our facility will have an opportunity to show off their skills they've learned being in their classes. The coaches will put together quick routines for them to perform in front of their families. It's a fun way to celebrate their success. In order to participate in the revue, you will have to stop by the front desk to purchase the attire. More information about times and what else we will have to offer at the time over the event will be posted soon.
Programs include: Pre-School Gymnastics, Boys Gymnastics, Ninja, and Recreational Gymnastics.
Putting your child in gymnastics makes sense for a number of reasons. It’s fun and you can start lessons at an early age. It helps your child’s physical and cognitive development. It’s also healthy and encourages an active lifestyle for the rest of their lives.

Starting children early in gymnastics begins the process of developing strong individuals, physically and non-physically. Starting them early on in a fitness program helps set a lifestyle habit of fitness. Gymnastics is perhaps one of the most comprehensive "lifestyle exercise programs" available to children, incorporating strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power, and discipline. It also helps build non-physical attributes in children as well, such as, self-confidence, hard work ethic, discipline, politeness, respect, courage, determination, and perseverance. It also helps them learn to perform in front of others and develops cognitive skills and social skills.
Competitive gymnastics provides opportunities to learn so much more than gymnastics skills. It provides a great place to learn the importance of setting goals, making steps towards achieving them, and feeling success when they are finally reached. It teaches how to deal with disappointment and overcome it, how to take corrections, hard work, and discipline. It gives children something to be committed to, to love, and to work hard for.
Recreational gymnastics is designed for kids that want to learn basic gymnastics skills, stay fit, build strength and flexibility. It is very important to go through all the necessary steps when learning skills in gymnastics. Being strong enough to perform the skills is also a key factor. We take pride in the correct development of all skills which is why all of our instructors are certified through USA Gymnastics.
FITNESS is CRITICAL to the current and future health of our children. Gymnastics classes are full of activities that will make your child more fit and help keep them healthy. Gymnastics training requires you to participate in exercises that involve flexibility, physical vigor, balance, coordination and agility.
